    Description

    EMR, Inc. is accepting applications for experienced Licensed Electricians to work on Government and Non-Government projects. Residential and Commercial work available.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Analyzes and interprets electrical and related blue prints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems.

    + Diagnoses causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair.

    + Inspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.

    + Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.

    + Repairs electrical components and/or systems (e.g. motors, circuits, compressors, switches, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition.

    Experience, Education, Skills, and Certifications

    + Licensed Electrician in city and/or state where job is located with minimum 2 years of experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical maintenance.

    + Previous experience in a construction environment specifically in the area of restoration preferred.

    + Valid drivers license with clean MVR to operate a company vehicle.

    + Must maintain current automobile insurance at all times.

    + Minimum high-school diploma or equivalent.

    + Must be willing and able to temporarily relocate.

    + Must possess skills to use all necessary tools both manual and power.

    + Self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities, and timelines to achieve results.

    + Ability to problem solve with minimal direction.

    + Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, maintaining composure and ability to get along with others and while working under tight schedules.

    + Acts in a manner of integrity in support of company values when communicating with architects, engineers, and construction managers, as well as other consultants.

    + Demonstrates proficiency in using a personal computer, communication tools, e-mail, internet, and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
