    Job Title: Room Attendant - Housekeeping

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. You will work closely with other members of the Housekeeping team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

    Responsibilities:

    - Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort

    - Change linens, make beds, and restock guest room amenities

    - Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures

    - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks

    - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor

    - Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction with their room accommodations

    - Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

    Requirements:

    - High school diploma or equivalent

    - Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

    - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

    - Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

    - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

    Education & Experience:
    •High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

    Physical requirements:

    • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required. Weekends & Holidays.
    • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly needing to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
    • Ability to stand during the entire shift. General Requirements:
    • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
    • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
      •Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
    • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
    • Attend all hotel required meetings and training.
    • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Presidian's Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform, nametag, and footwear.
    • Comply with Presidian's Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
    • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
    • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
    • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
    • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
    • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
    • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
    • Perform other duties as requested by management.
    • Maintain a warm, friendly, and positive attitude at all times.
