A facility is seeking a cardiology physician assistant for locum tenens coverage.
Explore Colorado National Monument, visit wineries on the Fruit and Wine Byway, and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and mountain biking.
The position is for a Board Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., covering both inpatient and outpatient care without any on-call duties. The typical patient volume is 10-12 per shift, primarily geriatric, with support from 6 other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and permanent surgeons on staff. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required, and familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred. The credentialing process takes 60-90 days, but they're seeking someone who can start on June 1st and are willing to grant temporary privileges.
