Principal Purpose of Job: The Yoga Instructor is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of Devil's Thumb Ranch. The Yoga Instructor is responsible for providing yoga instruction through a variety of entertaining and educational classes. Maintain positive relationships with guests and promote Devil's Thumb Ranch/Ranch Creek Spa services and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a challenging; yet level appropriate, yoga class
• Effectively discuss, explain and show all forms of yoga
• Educate class participants on correct form and alternate poses during class
• Create an inward focused atmosphere for class participants
• Listen to guests, answer questions and engage in conversation prior to and after class
• Clean and organize the studio after each class
• Maintain a professional standard for all services provided
• Available at pre-designated times
• Adhere to safety practices and policies
• Participate in monthly spa meetings, spa training and team building exercises
• Maintain a professional image at all tags. Uniforms and name tags must be worn
• Be knowledgeable of Ranch wide operation
• Promote entire ranch to clients
• Adhere to Secret Shopper Guidelines

Other Duties:
The employee is not limited to the above duties and may be required to perform other duties through out the property.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Personal Attributes:
Friendly, personable, ability to multi-task, a good communicator (verbal and written)

Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours. Lifting up to 25lbs is required.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
One-year Yoga Instructor Experience
Certified and insured Yoga Instructor

Special Skills/Equipment:
Must be able to use all equipment and tools necessary to provide services.
