    Job Summary


    The People Communications Director leads the day-to-day People (HR) communications for NAPA and plays a crucial role in crafting compelling messages to engage and inform our employees, creating a positive workplace culture.

    Reporting to the Sr.

    Director, People Strategy & Transformation, this individual communicates people and change initiatives from inception through launch, providing an employee-focused lens for content across internal and external channels.

    The role will build and enhance transparent and clear employee communications to drive NAPA strategy forward.
    Responsibilities


    Develops and executes strategic communications plans, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels and with the parent company, Genuine Parts Company (GPC).

    Leads communication initiatives during periods of organizational change, ensuring employees are informed and engaged throughout transitions.
    Creates HR content, ensuring that content is available to all key stakeholders across companys intranet.
    Writes and edits HR content, such as announcements, blog posts, and articles to effectively communicated HR-related news.

    Amplifies NAPAs employer brand and key messages on social media platforms by monitoring, responding, and engaging with audiences to foster community and enhance brand loyalty.

    Liaisons NAPA and GPC, ensuring smooth communication flows and alignment on major HR initiatives.
    Tracks communication metrics, adapting strategies based on insights for maximum impact.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, public relations, marketing, or other relevant areas.
    5-7 years of experience in writing, proofing, and/or editing.
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
    Strong project management and organizational skills.
    Creative mindset with the ability to tell engaging stories.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Masters degree in journalism, communication, public relations, marketing, or other relevant areas.
    7+ years of experience in writing, proofing, and/or editing.
