    Objectives of this Role
    Maximize project efficiency, accuracy, safety and quality control.
    Provide team support in the office and the field.
    Provide support to Project Managers and work closely with the Superintendent during construction.

    Responsibilities:
    Be a valued ambassador and team member of FTG Builders, resulting in Excellence for Every Project Every Day.
    Collaborate with the entire Project Team throughout the course of the project.
    Understand the constructability of plans and maintain updated sets from initial review through final as-builts.

    Act as a liaison with the client, architect, consultants, and field team to resolve issues related to plans and specifications.

    Work with the various municipal agencies for building permit applications.
    Capture, upload, and maintain project photos.
    Perform quantity take-offs.
    Visit the job site as allowed.

    Work with the project team and the Superintendent to write RFIs, process, and track due dates, added durations, and cost impacts, if any.

    Create project submittal schedules and obtain and review submittals, including product information, shop drawings, and samples, to ensure conformance to contract documents.

    Understand and follow the HCAi submittal workflow for the specific project.
    Record, track, and maintain project logs(including but not limited to punch list items, RFI logs, and Submittal logs).
    Update and maintain drawing revisions, including ASIs, ACDs, and NMAs.
    Identify and track change events, potential change orders, and their reasons.

    Attend and prepare virtual and in-person project meetings, including OAC and coordination meetings, while capturing and maintaining concise meeting minutes and identifying and tracking team members accountable for action items.

    Record, track, and maintain punch lists.
    Prepare and collect close-out documentation and verify that As-Builts are correct.
    Assist the project team, including the Superintendent, with the progress of the project schedules.
    Assist the project management team with the bidding process.
    Assist the project management team with monthly billings.
    Provide observation and feedback during construction activities.
    Follow FTG Builders Filing Procedure and nomenclature requirements.
    Inform promptly all team members, including subcontractors and suppliers, of any construction schedule changes.
    Collect and track all TIO reports.

    Required skills and qualifications:
    Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, construction management, or equivalent education and experience.
    Must be skilled at interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and trade specific schedules.
    Ability to communicate with effective technical, oral, and written skills.
    Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and willingness to travel to project sites.
    Must be a self-starter.
    Willing to be challenged and pivot duties in moments of urgency on a project.
    Willing to assist others and share knowledge with team members.
    Willing to learn new skills and apply them with supportive oversight.
    Must have skilled technical ability in the following software: Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office products.
    1-3 years' experience in the construction industry.
    Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Civil Engineering or Construction Management
    Preferred skills and qualifications
    EIT (Engineer in Training) license.
    Bilingual (Spanish) or multi-lingual
