    Description

    Overview:

    This BA role is highly collaborative, working cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Finance, UX/UI, Merchandising and Operations. As the eCommerce analyst you will be responsible for driving incremental revenue, increasing cart size, mitigating cart abandonment, and maximizing conversion. You will work to optimize the Kirklands customer journey by analyzing and measuring site functionality and cart/checkout performance. The eCommerce Analyst role will play an integral part in helping Kirklands to scale our eCommerce business with a data driven and sustainable approach. You will facilitate our understanding of Kirklands customer behavior from discovery to checkout.

    A successful analyst will be responsible for click stream data analysis, website tagging, segmentation and dashboard creation, and conversion path analysis. They will also work with UX/UI to build well-designed A/B test scenarios, then analyze and optimize metrics to measure the success of A/B tests.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with members of the Kirklands eCommerce team to assemble cross-functional analysis and develop benchmark criteria for measuring online metric performance
    • Help drive the automation of analytics and distribution of KPI reporting within the organization
    • Develop reports and analysis that include observations and business context in order to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
    • Analyze web traffic, customer behavior, and site performance using Adobe Analytics to support business decisions and deliver an improved customer site experience
    • Maintain and support Adobe Analytics data integrity and validation for existing and new implementations
    • Develop, improve, and enhance all processes in Adobe Analytics
    • Support the continued enhancement and evolution of our analytics capabilities to a best-in-class level and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals
    • Partner with UX/UI and site merchandising teams to build A/B tests and analyze results
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in eCommerce Analytics
    • Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics
    • Established record of accomplishment in eCommerce Analytics or similar role
    • Ability to own projects and work independently with little direction
    • Experience working with business users to build reports and dashboards and solve business questions with data
    • Strong communicator with a sharp analytical approach
    • Comfort working in a matrix environment
    • 2+ year of experience working with tag management tools (Adobe Tag Manager) required
    • Technical aptitude as it relates to data layer, HTML and tagging tools Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Software for the creation of management reports, presentations, and analysis
    • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
