- Grades 3-5, 8 students, Life skills
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to ensure academic growth and achievement
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices and support the academic and social-emotional development of all students
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies for success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Valid state certification in Special Education, must have PEL
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, and autism spectrum disorders
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
