NEMG New England Police Motor Vehicle Leasing is seeking Police Officers who are current Police Motor Officer Instructors to teach the basic motor officer school located at Seacoast Harley-Davidson.

Classes are typically scheduled 1-week classes, 5 times per year at Seacoast Harley-Davidson, North Hampton, NH

Responsibilities:

Ensuring proper layout and cone placement for exercises.
Coaching and evaluating motorcycle operator performance.
Student focused teaching.
Properly demonstrate riding skills in cone patterns consistent with TEEX, NUCPS or recognized Police Motorcycle Officer Instructor School.
Oversee and provide fluid student feedback to ensure learning objectives are met.
Ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Ability to speak with a calm tone and possess active listening and problem-solving skills.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Expectations

Certification as a Police Motorcycle instructor through Northwestern University Center for Public Safety or Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), or other nationally recognized or accredited police motorcycle instructor program.
Current motorcycle endorsement.
Minimum of 2 years with department motorcycle unit.
Motorcycle Instructors shall be required to recertify in accordance with TEEX or NUCPS recertification standards of certification.
