    Description

    Beach Safety Officer

    We are seeking an experienced Lifeguard to join our team. As a Beach Lifeguard, you will be responsible for providing protection of life on county beaches and responding to emergency situations.

    • Provide basic life support assistance on an emergency basis for the care and treatment of sick and injured person(s).
    • Safely observe and supervise the activities of the public.

    You must possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with beachgoers, dispatch emergency vehicles as needed, administer first aid or lifesaving techniques if required, utilize rescue equipment appropriately.

    Vital Qualifications



    • A valid driver license is mandatory.

      Valid United States Lifesaving Association or equivalent lifeguard training certification is essential,,a Florida registered EMT preferred.


    An individual should have physical ability sufficient to exert in excess of 100 pounds occasionally.
    This entails being able:


    Picking up items weighing over 25 pounds regularly
    Moving people requiring lifting using proper body mechanics more frequently than infrequently with minimal strain.
