Our Orthopedics unit handles a range of patients, including those undergoing shoulder, knee, and hip replacements, orthopedic traumas, and hip fractures. Staff also work with patients post-gastric bypass surgeries and gastric sleeve procedures. The team is skilled in managing surgical traction, external fixators, IV medications, and telemetry monitoring. Other duties include caring for medical surgical overflow patients, utilizing various medical devices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
License: Must hold a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in Missouri
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification via American Heart Association
