Job DescriptionJob Description Description The Grants Manager is responsible for tracking, planning, implementing, and evaluating the grants program. The role of the Grants Manager covers both implementation and compliance functions. Implementation functions relate to the broad view of helping an organization manage grant funding, set goals, and implement programs.
Compliance functions relate to tracking program performance to achieve organizational goals and comply with funding criteria and requirements and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential
Functions/Responsibilities:
Ensuring regulation compliance, following the grantor's guidelines, liaising with the grantor and evaluating the performance of assigned programs and projects.
Maintain records of payments, manage change requests, and perform research on all grant issues and prepare monthly records for grant related activities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise No specific education required.
However, the Grants Manager must possess above skills, knowledge and qualities which may result from formal education or at least three years of experience in business, non-profit operational and financial management, or related areas.
Maintains effective systems to account for grant awards and the organization's performance using the funds.Manages corporate programs to maximize the use of grant funds in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, grant requirements, and applicable law.
General understanding of operations of a nonprofit organization provides advice to its Executive Director and staff and/or solicits guidance from experts.
Understands the duties and responsibilities of the position and keeps job knowledge up to date.#J-18808-Ljbffr
