Fractional HR Director – Remote Ministry OrganizationsMinistry HR Group is a Texas-based HR Consulting firm focusing on providing inviting, biblical Human Resources solutions for non-profit organizations who have strong core values and engaging, caring cultures.
We support specialized HR programs such as Statement of Faith alignment, Biblical conduct expectations, ministerial exceptions, sabbatical leave, parsonage compensation, Christian health benefit programs and more.
We are seeking a Fractional HR Director for 10-25 hours per week to fulfill HR leadership roles for Christian organizations.
The role is hybrid remote but must be based in Texas. The job will support our clients by leading HR strategies, coaching and HR staff mentorship.We support all areas of Human Resources for our clients, including recruiting, hiring, compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, policies and compliance, Christian ministry guidance, and more.

Working hours occur Monday through Friday, up to 25 hours per week during the core hours of 9am-4pm CT. This position reports to the Head of Consulting / Co-Founder at Ministry HR Group.Minimum of 5 years in HR Director role, including leading change in all areas of HR
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience at a Christian ministry organization
Minimum of 4 years of HR leadership experience in a corporate setting
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Leadership, or equivalent HR experience
Hold a current US-based Professional HR certification (SHRM or HRCI preferred)
Proven ability to lead full cycle of HR programs
Proven ability to coach and guide Executives on best people practices
Desire and ability to learn new ways of addressing HR issues
Ability to consistently provide high quality, detailed and accurate work product
High social intelligence and ability to discern appropriateness of performance and behavior and coach others to do the same
Ability to accurately apply Biblical references and principles in HR coaching, materials and communication
Consistently maintain a Professional Remote Office and appearance
Provide Fractional HR Consulting to Christian ministry clients within a welcoming, inviting HR culture
Adopt the Ministry HR Group toolkit and programs to support clients
Work with client Leadership to develop and implement HR Strategies and programs, focusing on reinforcing the clients' cultural values and objectives
Conduct HR needs analysis, create HR Strategic Plans, and lead full cycle HR programs to include Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Policy Development, Training and Development, Succession Planning, Organizational Development and Change Management
Oversee assigned HR team and projects to accomplish set client objectives
Identify key performance indicators for the human resources functions; Provide in-house advice and support to Ministry HR Group team members
Actively participate in Ministry HR Group meetings and community
Travel to Ministry HR Group and client events as requested.
Manage or perform special HR projects as needed.
