- General Ledger accounting; including preparation, posting and documentation of Journal Entries.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month end process.
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Monthly reconciliation of multiple bank and credit card accounts.
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts and manage accounts receivable and collections.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned including special projects and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience
- Previously held roles as a Staff Accountant is preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software. SAP is a plus

Job Description Summary
The staff accountant position performs daily and monthly functions including month end and year end reporting. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work in a multiple task environment and strong computer literacy.
