Warehouse Associate

Job Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks safely using a sit-down forklift.
• Completing daily inbound receiving and outbound shipping following FIFO principles.
• Inspecting incoming shipments, handling damaged items, documenting shortages, and coordinating with relevant personnel to resolve issues.
• Accurately documenting, pulling, staging, and packaging pallets per BOL or Packing List requirements.
• Keeping departments informed on order and shipping/receiving statuses and addressing any pending issues.
• Resolving shipping and receiving discrepancies on a daily basis.
• Conducting inventory counts and FIFO stock rotations.
• Notifying team members of any inventory discrepancies and assisting in resolving issues.
• Ensuring warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
• Regular maintenance of shipping and receiving equipment and materials.
• Supporting manufacturing operations when necessary and undertaking assigned duties from management.
• Adhering to housekeeping, sanitation, and GMP standards while strictly following food safety protocols.
• Reporting any food safety or quality concerns to supervisors or managers.
• Participating in training for GMPs, HACCP, and other facility and production-related policies.
• Promoting a positive, team-oriented culture and demonstrating self-motivation, reliability, attention to detail, and proactive work participation.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lb. bags regularly.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of warehouse experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.
• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Knowledge of physical inventory procedures, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong counting accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English.
