    We are looking to add new talent to our growing team We are currently seeking a Project Environmental Engineer to work in a task management and technical role with highly skilled professionals. This role includes both field and office assignments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-timehybrid position located in our Costa Mesa, CA office.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
    The successful candidate will:

    • Have the ability to perform both assistant project management and technical tasks on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Be accountable for multiple field and office work assignments.
    • Focus on team project delivery, taking direction primarily from Project Managers and Client Account Managers.
    • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations.
    • Have the technical knowledge and organizational skills to direct, coach, and support staff to facilitate successful execution of projects.
    • Conduct field work, including:
    • Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of environmental remediation systems,
    • Construction oversight of environmental remediation and mitigation projects,
    • Soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations and sampling,
    • Installation, sampling, and maintenance of groundwater and soil vapor extraction and monitoring wells.
    • Conduct office work including report writing, data tabulation and evaluation, task management, and coordination of schedule, staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Have a strong knowledge of Federal and state (California) environmental regulations and regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to ensure projects are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Communicate with clients, property owners, tenants, and regulators.
    • Live a commutable distance to the Costa Mesa office.
    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
    • B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering.
    • M.S. or PhD degree in Environmental Engineering strongly preferred.
    • Already obtained EIT and able to sit for CA PE registration within 1-year of hire.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of related local Southern California environmental engineering and consulting experience.
    • Proficient in technical writing, verbal communication skills, and organization/analytical skills.
    • Computer skills with Bluebeam, MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Access, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
    • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER and other H&S training desirable.
    • Ability to work on a team and independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.

    The estimated salary range for this position in Costa Mesa, CA is $85, ,000 if annualized. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to ensure we are competitive in the current market.
