    **Job Summary**

    We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at our large hauling operation in Vancouver, WA.

    **Key Responsibilities**

    • Ensure adherence to our corporate safety program and foster collaboration among personnel.

    • Provide training and support to mechanics and preventative maintenance mechanics.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and statutes.

    • Control inventory and maintain equipment.

    • Train and assist mechanics on diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.

    • Schedule and assign work to mechanics, PM mechanics, or other maintenance shop personnel.

    • Coordinate vehicle repairs and testing.

    • Prepare purchase orders and research best prices on parts and repairs.

    • Assist with financial projections and budgeting.

    • Maintain department costs within budget.

    **Requirements**

    • 3 years of maintenance experience in truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

    • Ability to train and motivate staff.

    • Knowledge of air brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required.

    • Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.

    **What We Offer**

    We offer competitive salary ranges ($88,000 - $93,000 annually), bonus opportunities, and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, 401K retirement, and more.
