- Performing all aspects of the cremation process, including aquamation, with instruction and training provided.
- Compassionate and professional pickup of deceased pets from veterinary clinics and family homes.
- Delivery of cremated remains to veterinary clinics and family homes.
- Data entry of all pets from pickup to return in our SRS software.
- Restock supplies as needed. Including but not limited to cleaning supplies and chemical supplies.
- Clean and maintain cremation areas and vehicles.
- Various other tasks as assigned.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, possible overnight pickups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen social awareness and integrity.
- Excellent understanding of customer service.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
- Previous funeral or veterinary service is preferred but not required.
- Team focused, must be able to work together for our common goal.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be insurable by Cedar Memorial's insurance provider.
- Prolonged periods of standing may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at times.
