    Description

    The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an Attending Psychiatrist to serve as the Director of Emergency Psychiatry. This individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide clinical treatment as part of a collaborative team
    • Participate in supervision and training for medical students and Psychiatry residents
    • Contribute to the department's commitment to career and academic development, physician and family wellness, diversity and inclusion, and excellence in patient care and medical education

    Opportunities

    Mentorship and research opportunities are available. Faculty appointment is commensurate with qualifications at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The opportunity to participate in faculty practice and optional evening and weekend coverage for additional compensation is also available.

    Requirements

    Eligible applicants must be Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry.

    Benefits

    We offer a highly competitive salary range of $260,000-275,000. Additional income can be made with call responsibilities and bonus productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) plan are also provided.
