    Job Title: Senior Human Resources Associate


    Type of Employment: Direct Hire Opportunity


    Our client is in search of a Senior Human Resources Associate to join their growing team. As a vital member of the HR department, you will play a key role in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, as well as ensuring compliance. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offer comprehensive HR support to designated facilities.
    • Assist the Human Resources Director in implementing policies and procedures across multiple locations.
    • Support day-to-day HR operations including employee communication, onboarding/offboarding, leave management, workers' compensation, HR data management, and employee relations.
    • Conduct training sessions for employees at various levels.
    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and select internal and external candidates.
    • Resolve issues related to values, diversity, and the Open Door policy effectively.
    • Conduct orientations for new hires.
    • Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies, working closely with Employee Relations and legal teams.
    • Provide guidance and recommendations for the growth of non-exempt employees and Supervisors.
    • Assist in conflict resolution and interventions in partnership with HR leadership.
    • Oversee contractor agency relations with front-line supervisors and the internal HR Director.
    • Deliver, monitor, and provide training for site Supervisors and non-exempt employees, both technical and non-technical.
    • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
    • Accurately handle payroll processing for all staff members in compliance with regulations.
    • Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other deductions.
    • Manage time approvals by managers and functional timekeepers, ensuring compliance.
    • Handle non-benefit deductions, including garnishment interpretation and distribution.
    • Travel might be necessary.

    Experience/Requirements:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in the food manufacturing/production or start-up sectors.
    • At least 4 years of experience in Payroll administration.
    • Proficient in recruitment strategies, employment agency operations, and interviewing methods.
    • Solid understanding of employee relations, diversity, performance management, and labor laws, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, coaching, and counseling skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
    • Fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.

    Schedule:

    • Working days: Monday to Friday (flexibility for weekend shifts required).
    • Working hours: 8am to 5pm (flexible schedule).
