    Salary:$20 - $22/hr + benefits

    Position Overview: As a Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our patients' health and well-being by assisting in the preparation and delivery of infusion medications. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure the safe and effective administration of intravenous medications in a home setting.

    Days Needed: Mondays & Tuesdays OR Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 8 am - 4:30 pm onsite
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Fill prescriptions and nursing supplies under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Pack orders for delivery (UPS/FedEx/Courier). May need to drop packages off to UPS/FedEx depending on driver availability
    • Maintain an adequate stock of supplies.
    • Clean ambulatory infusion suite (AIS) and pharmacy per site protocol
    • Learn and be able to troubleshoot pharmacy equipment to perform daily tasks (if issues arise)
    • Utilize the pharmacy software to process labels and work orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Scan in completed work orders at the end of the day and attach it to the patient's chart
    • Ensure fluid communication and teamwork mentality with the pharmacy staff to facilitate workflow.
    • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Aid the pharmacist inputting medications into the system and place them in their appropriate location and any other tasks that the pharmacist requests
    Qualifications:
    • Passing background check & drug screen
    • Current and active Pharmacy Technician certification or licensure in the state of Georgia
    • Prior experience working in a home infusion or specialty pharmacy setting is highly desirable, but not required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and caregivers if needed
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Proficiency and ability to quickly learn pharmacy software system (CareTend), Microsoft Office and Adobe
    • Proficiency is basic computer skills
    • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
    • Maintain professionalism and positive attitude while onsite
