Housekeeper - 2nd Shift - 3pm - 1130pmThe Housekeeper is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
While executing the assigned tasks, the housekeeper will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff.Responsible for timely room turns relate to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.$3k Sign on Bonus available for eligible new hire.
Job DescriptionResponsible for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment as assigned and other common areas of assignment.
Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e., proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Removes waste and transports to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling (i.e., regulated medical, recycle, solid, and hazardous)Provides basic training to new or other housekeeping members as assigned.
Reports any unsafe conditions and/or repairs needed in a timely mannerRequirementsMust have ability to read, write, and follow written or verbal instructions.
