    So, what does an HVAC Estimator do? In a nutshell, their essential function is primarily responsible for providing air conditioning and heating equipment (HVAC systems) replacement options direct to homeowners in our community.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide our clients with replacement options based on their needs and wants, ensuring excellent customer service and performance measurements are met.
    • Work closely with Service technicians, Sales & Install coordinators, Installers, management/supervisors, and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate system replacement sales estimates for clients
    • Collect client information and explain financing options
    • Performs accurate measurements of existing equipment and supporting material to ensure an efficient installation process
    • Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information
    • Document client sale notes carefully, ensuring any follow up is accurately documented
    • Continually expand knowledge of current HVAC standards, products, and home construction
    • Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
    • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners, via in-home presentation preferred
    • Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills
    • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills
    • Assertive and confident personality
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks accurately
    • Commitment to company values
    • Ability to climb into and through attics and crawl spaces
    • Ability to work outside and in extreme temperatures
    • Must pass pre-employment criminal background check.
    • Must have a clean driving record.
    • Basic computer skills
    • Reliable & punctual attendance
    • Ability to be flexible in working a variable schedule including some evenings
    • Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Highly preferred prior knowledge related to home construction, HVAC, general mechanics, and handyperson repair
    • High School Diploma/G.E.D., or college degree preferred

    Compensation & Hours:

    Base + Commission

    Monday - Friday: ability to run 3 calls per day 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (additional in-between calls as needed)
