- Initiate new tool jobs utilizing internal system, ensuring all job start packet information is verified and material is available for production.
- Initiate re-sharp tool jobs sent by customer for resharpening; including quantity confirmation verification of customer order, confirm purchase order, issue to production.
- Collaborate on flow management (FMT) with engineering and plant management to ensure proper quantity of WIP in work zones, including end of year audit for inventory status.
- Manage job status including updating past due and assisting customers with updates.
- Review route and BOMs to ensure accuracy.
- Manage Cutting Tool inventory by ensuring value, location, and quantity meets organizational needs.
- Review and manage coating log to ensure schedule adherence.
- Minimum of two years manufacturing experience required.
- Production planning / scheduling experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Knowledge of database software, internet software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, quality and work processing
