Improve assembly processes by analyzing and planning workflow, machine functionality and equipment layoutEvaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting hands-on assessmentsSolicit observations from operators and setup techniciansDevelop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipmentProvide manufacturing decision making information by calculating production, labor, and material costsConfer with equipment vendorsKeep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established proceduresAssess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
Create and manage process documentation and operating instructionsProvide process documentation and operating instructionsQualifications and Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Engineering.
Previous working experience as a Process/machinery Engineer for 3 yearsWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal stamping, automated assemblyWorking knowledge of CAD (Solidworks, Pro-E, Inventor, AutoCad or etc)Excellent communication skills.
Lean Manufacturing Tools ApplicationPLC ProgrammingPreferred Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in industrial automationKnowledge of electrical cable, connectors, electrical testingProject Management ExperienceLean Six Sigma CertifiedBilingual
