    Description
    Mancan Staffing is currently looking for a Tax Associate for a CPA firm in Fort Myers, FL.
    This is a full time position paying between $51,500.00 to $60,000.00 depending on experience.


    Job description:

    • Work with clients' QuickBooks data to review and analyze their financials.
    • After-the-fact QuickBooks bookkeeping
    • QuickBooks training and support to clients
    • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
    • Review general ledger and post adjusting journal entries
    • Payroll processing, including set up and support
    • Prepare various tax fillings; State Tax, Business Property, Payroll, etc.
    • Financial statement reporting
    • Interact and communicate with clients to build relationships and provide exceptional service

    Requirements:

    • Public accounting experience – 3+ years
    • QuickBooks experience – 3+ years
    • QuickBooks Pro-Advisor a plus
    • Must be able to consult and meet with clients. Must speak and write proper English with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience setting up and running payroll
    • Strong accounting knowledge
    • Must be Extremely knowledgeable and proficient on the computer
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
    • Self-sufficient, motivated and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment with ever changing technology and tax deadlines

    Income Tax Experience:

    • 1040 & 1120s – 1 to 3 years experience
