    Description

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team at Reding Inc, the leading HVAC company in Western New York. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support that reflects our commitment to excellence.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create a positive customer experience by ensuring quality and care in all interactions.
    • Adjust, repair, replace sewage and sump pumps as needed.
    • Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships to customers.
    • Complete documentation on services provided, collect fees, and deliver to office administration.
    • Provide accurate True Transparency pricing consistently.
    • Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes; connect valves; caulk joints; and test finished work for accuracy.
    • Perform thorough plumbing inspections, including Health & Safety Checklists, and communicate findings to customers.
    • Repair drain, sewer, and water lines according to applicable codes.
    • Prepare detailed finding reports with pictures to discuss with customers and present repair options.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Prior plumbing service experience preferred (at least 3 years).
    • Familiarity with industry equipment, field concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and equipment.
    • Strong relationship-building skills, customer-focused, and disciplined.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to function effectively in a team environment.
    • Valid driver's license and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.

    Physical Demands:

    This role requires working in both indoor and outdoor conditions with varying temperatures and elements. Essential physical demands include:

    • Standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching for extended periods.
    • Regularly working in tight spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces.
    • Lifting up to 50 pounds, with the ability to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower or devices.
    • Occasional work from heights above 15 feet.
    • Carrying a 24- foot extension ladder alone or a 40-foot extension ladder with a fellow coworker on most jobs.
