Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking Packaging Associates for a Distribution Warehouse in Holly, MI. This position is for a mechanically inclined individual who possesses a positive attitude and desire to continuously improve. This person will be a key player in the Quick Changeover Pit Crew team initiative. The Pit Crew Technicians main role will be to handle parts after they have been sorted before they are stored and shipped. Positions are full-time, temporary positions with the opportunity to go direct based on attendance, attitude, job performance, etc. Pay Rate: $14.50-$16.10/hr

We are currently recruiting for future openings on the following shifts (hours may vary by department):

• 1st Shift Machine Sort Tech: 6:00am-2:00pm, Mon-Sat with possible OT on Saturdays
• 2nd Shift Machine Sort Tech: 2:00pm-10:00pm, Mon-Sat with possible OT on Saturdays
• 3rd Shift Machine Sort Tech: 10:00pm-6:00am, Sun night-Thurs night with possible OT on Friday nights

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Handle and dump parts into machine
• Ensure machine and component parts are running properly
• Weigh, stack, and move full boxes onto pallets
• Maintain records, documents and files as instructed
• Move parts by hand truck or forklift if needed
• All other activities as assigned by Supervisor

Required:

• Must pass a non-THC drug test and criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work in a variety of assignments.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to learn to use QA gaging and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of basic math skills.
• Ability to use hand truck or forklift is preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Problem solving skills.
