    JMT's Accounting Department is in search of a team-spirited invoice billing specialist to join their team. The selected individual will be accountable for managing all accounting aspects related to invoicing clients for project undertakings.

    The pay range offered is $22-$30/hour. The salary range is determined based on the candidate's background and level of expertise.

    Following a preliminary training phase, a hybrid work schedule is available.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Set up projects and budgets in the accounting database
    • Review contract terms and verifications of job setup paperwork.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting standards and government requirements in submitted information.
    • Establish project financials and budgeting
    • Accurately record all billing transactions in the Accounting system
    • Review sub consultant invoices for contractual compliance and process vouchers
    • Create complex invoices (Cost Plus, Time and Materials, & Fixed Price) and complete monthly billing
    • Collaborate with project managers to finalize invoices for client submission.
    • Investigate and resolve billing issues to ensure timely billing.
    • Analyze monthly financials and ongoing revenue recognition
    • Scan invoices
    • Index and file invoices into the electronic document management system

    Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Experience

    • Experience in accounting operations for construction, architecture, engineering, or other project-based professional services company

    Working Conditions

    Work is conducted within a typical office setting. It mainly entails sedentary tasks, with occasional standing and walking. Adequate lighting and temperature are provided, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions like noise or dust in the office.
