- Provide excellent instruction in graduate and undergraduate courses in finance, both on-campus and online.
- Teaching duties may be varied, but could include courses in personal finance, insurance and risk management, entrepreneurial finance, managerial finance, advanced managerial finance, and other finance courses as assigned.
- The standard teaching load is 3/3 or 3/4 depending on faculty qualifications. Summer courses may be available to teach for additional compensation.
- Meet scholarly and/or professional engagement requirements to maintain qualification in the appropriate AACSB category. (Please see for a copy of the Leavitt School of Business Faculty Qualifications policy).
- Engage and mentor students in the exploration of career opportunities and job placement in alignment with the mission and vision of the Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business and Southern Utah University.
- Work in a team-based environment and provide service to the department, school, and Southern Utah University.

This is a permanent, full-time nine-month tenure-track position to begin as early as August 16, 2024. Start dates of January 2025 or August 2025 may be possible options.
