- Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures for safeguarding lives and property.
- Monitor and Oversee the coordination of security staff during an emergency situation.
- Assist in developing, implementing, training, and drills for employees, staff, and vendors on emergency response action(s), incident report writing, Incident management system, etc.
- Assist in enforcing safety and security regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of workplace injuries or death.
- Assist in the development and management of processes for securing high-value property and sensitive information within the facility's property room.
- Assist in the set up of access control systems for company equipment and facilities to limit access to restricted areas.
- Assist in Addressing technical and non-technical escalations.
- Coordinate and schedule shift coverage and assign resources for special projects.
- Assist in the planning and coordinating of security support during special or high-risk events.
- Oversee the regulation of ingress and egress into our facility during high-traffic periods.
- Manage all video surveillance and access control maintenance and repair.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate responses with all relevant agencies.
- Facilitate all security-related incidents to the program management team and other stakeholders.
- Perform quality control and assurance for all security incidents and generate After Action Review (AAR) to mitigate future incidents.
- Collaborate with other project departments to ensure the execution of security's best practices.
- Maintain and record all security incident documents within our Incident Management System.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
- Tactical & operational expertise.
- Knowledge and use of Lenel and Milestone systems.
- Solid understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs.
- Ability to learn new Incident Management Systems and Communication platforms.
- Strong attention to detail in communication within federal agencies.
- Ability to multi-task and support numerous security operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong incident report writing ability.
- Familiarity with MS Project and knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust Background Investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Cyber Security, or Information Systems (special consideration given to relevant industry certifications for enterprise-level security platforms) or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- A prior history of leading a SOC is highly desired.
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred.
