    Description
    • Develops complex weight, balance and mass properties data.
    • Determines approaches to developing data and analyzes and compares results.
    • Defines complex weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements.
    • Participates in developing customer specification commitments.
    • Provides complex vehicle or system configuration guidance.
    • Leads individual design team weight control efforts.
    • Estimates, calculates and measures and verifies mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems.
    • Develops and maintains weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generates weight and balance reports.
    • Creates, develops and implements new processes and tools to facilitate improved design and analysis capabilities.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
    • 3+ years of experience in weights and mass properties engineering
    • Experience using CATIA or similar design modeling tool
    • Experience in aircraft weight and balance analysis.
    • Ability to comprehend contract statement of work requirements, define task execution details, estimate task durations, and schedule and monitor team task execution.
    • Understanding of client commercial derivative aircraft (707, 737, 747, 757, 777, 787) or similar platform interior compartments and standard aircraft primary/secondary hardware and aircraft system components
    • Large aircraft weighing experience
    • Aircraft control surface weighing experience
