    Health Advocates Network is looking for a Recreational Therapist to join their team at a facility in Soledad, California. These are registry positions within the company.

    Pay Rate: $40 / hour

    Job Details:

    • Area: Mental Health STRT Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 08:00:00 End: 16:30:00

    CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPEUTIC CERTIFICATION (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATION AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess patient needs
    • Consider medical records
    • Personal observation and communication with the patient and their families
    • Implement a therapeutic program tailored to the patient's specific needs
    • Stay updated on community and therapeutic resources to provide the best support to patients
    • Track and document patient progress during activities
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Recreational Therapist in the last 36 months
    • Ability to establish rapport with patients
    • Compassionate and empathetic attitude
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Possession of a valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
