    Graphic Designer Job Description

    The Graphic Designer is a key team member responsible for delivering high-quality graphics orders and contributing to the production process. To excel in this role, one must possess strong design skills, technical expertise, and excellent collaboration abilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develops creative concepts and builds graphic solutions for customers.
    • Prepares and assembles images, copy, and manages layout for publication.
    • Completes pre-press setup in Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for both Mac and PC.
    • Communicates effectively with customers and develops accurate customer files based on production workflow.
    • Produces/designs, proofs, and updates materials for customer projects.
    • Maintains a team player attitude and plays a critical role in the production process.
    • Frequently follows up on production activity using various communication methods.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field preferred.
    • Two years of experience in graphic design or the print industry.
    • Expertise with Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
    • Able to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline production flow.
    • Demonstrates extreme attention to detail in design work.
    • Skilled in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing.
    • An energetic self-starter driven to succeed.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A neat, clean, and professional appearance.

    Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
