    Job Summary:

    A Linguist is responsible for real-time transcription of sensitive material from Uzbek to English, collecting and analyzing colloquialisms and slang terms, extracting pertinent information, and communicating it to law enforcement agents. They transcribe source documents and recordings from storage media.

    1. The Linguist listens to oral intercepts/audio recordings in Uzbek, providing a verbal synopsis and transcripts.
    2. They are accountable for relating all relevant information to the client.
    3. Linguists contribute to a master list of slang words and codes used by specific groups or organizations during projects/cases.
    4. Maintaining voice libraries throughout project duration is essential.
    5. During inactive periods, linguists transcribe assigned calls provided by their supervisors.
