Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing support in various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Packing kits per kit requirements, using inventory items with exact quantities
- Maintaining inventory levels
- Scheduling shipments and logistics, verifying the contents of outgoing shipments
- Determining methods and affixing shipping labels with identifying information, charges and payment information
- Packing containers with fillers, spacers and protective padding ,and securing cartons and containers
- Documenting and sending returned shipments of damaged, defective, or unsold products
- Preparing and printing shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Taking and managing inventory and keeping the area secured
- Organizing and maintaining the stockroom through cataloging and cleaning on a scheduled basis
- Maintaining all computerized shipping and distribution records and compiling reports for management
- Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required
