    Work in a beautiful office in downtown San FranciscoLead a team to grow the branch's commercial portfolio, including loan and deposit, and isresponsible for identifying, acquiring, growing new and existing profitable business relationships that create value and yield loan commitments and deposit balances for the branch.

    Head of Marketing will assist Branch Manager to achieve the branch's budget by maximizing profitability, revenue, customer base andretention of strategic relationships through cross selling the full range of deposit and lending products and services.

    This job is the primary contact for developing new clients while managing existing customer relationships.
    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the marketing team to develop new business, including deposit and loan. Maintain established market presence and extensive network of outside referral sources for newdeposit and loan business.

    Structure CRE loan, construction loan, trade finance, working capital line of credit and otherbanking products as the branch may develop.

    Negotiate specific terms and conditions within parameters defined by the bank's credit policiesand approval. Finalize loan agreements with prospects and customers and close sales. Contribute and provide input to loan decision process based on evaluation of credit risk andmitigating factors. Mentor less experienced marketing/underwriting officers.

    Responsible for growth goals (loans, deposits, fees), both individually and assisting the team,through development of new commercial customers and cross selling existing customers.

    Implement and hold team accountable for adherence to the bank's lending policy and procedure. Ensure quality control and efficient processes.

    Take a leadership role in handling internal and external audits and bank examinations to ensureloan and credit management of complete and accurate bank records as requested.

    Responsible for coordinating with head office for loan approval and act as the creditrepresentative of the branch to head office.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONBachelor's degree in finance or related area.10+ years of experience in credit and/or market development.
    In-depth understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques and creditdecisions.
    Proven business development track record, with proven ability to conceptualize and implementeffective business strategies.
