    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Measures finished product or parts and fabricates the container in the prescribed manner for shipment.
    2. Using hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment, builds the container around the equipment or fabricates the container and places equipment therein.
    3. Packs, skids, bands, braces, covers, and weighs parts and/or the fabricated container as required.
    4. Frequently uses hoist in the movement of materials while performing duties.
    5. Removes grease, oil, rust, and/or grime from parts using solvents or other cleaners.
    6. Deburrs parts using hand and power tools.
    7. Reads blueprints for light assembly and packing requirements.
    8. Assembles components based on blueprints.
    9. Measures and inspects work using provided measuring devices.
    10. Identifies component parts by part number with metal stamp, electric etcher, and/or other designated means.
    11. Capable of lifting components up to 40 lbs without the use of a hoist.
    12. Has a good background in the basic application of shop mathematics.
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    1. High school graduate or equivalent.
    2. Good knowledge and application of basic shop math.
    3. Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
    4. Strong communication skills.
    5. Must have a practical knowledge of cutting tools.
    6. Must be capable of reading blueprints, programs, and sketches.
    7. Must be familiar with and be able to use precision measuring equipment.
    8. Capable of standing for most of the shift, frequent bending, lifting up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 40 lbs occassionally.
