    Requirements

    Summary: The Physical Therapist will primarily focus on optimizing movement and function to improve clinical outcomes, recover from injury, manage pain, and increase patient and provider satisfaction

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

    • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients using clinical observation and standardized testing to identify physical therapy needs
    • Developing individualized, evidence-based care plans to improve overall function and participation in daily life
    • Providing patient-centered education to improve movement and physical activity for prevention

    and treatment

    • Utilizing technology to provide additional support and resources to patients and their caregivers.
    • Providing virtual physical therapy and house calls for high-risk patients.
    • Ensuring proper use of equipment and instruction of patients and caregivers on safe handling to promote optimal function and recovery.
    • Supervising and offering direction to PTAs and PT interns.
    • Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and/or caregivers to identify and develop patient-specific therapy goals.
    • Ensuring patients have a positive experience by providing an elevated level of service promptly, professionally, and empathetically.
    • Assisting in the development and presentation of educational materials for patients and providers.
    • Participating in quality improvement programs and initiatives driven by clinical needs.
    • Understanding the organization's clinical programs, identifying practice opportunities, and integrating programs and resources into practice workflows to optimize the patient experience, improve quality of care, and positively impact resource utilization.
