Job Description
Join our team Laredo Medical Center's 2D Med Surg Unit provides 30 private patient rooms for specialized care for treating complex medical and surgical patients.
Each Monitor Tech reports directly to the unit's Director, while also having on-shift leadership enhanced by LMC's Charge RNs and/or Clinical Coordinators.
Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
Responsible for the continuous monitoring, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of cardiac rhythms of patients on cardiac telemetry monitoring. Assists in training new personnel in unit procedures. Provides all required documentation and maintains appropriate internal logs and records. Ensures the LMC Code of Conduct is reflected in all aspects of the unit operation.
