Duties

The incumbent serves as the Deputy Associate Director (Business Operations) in the Engineering and System Integration (ESI) Directorate, assisting with the management of the Directorate by leading an assigned portfolio of programs and/or responsibilities.

Span of control comprises core technical competencies, a multidisciplinary workforce, and a subordinate team.

Provides oversight to a team responsible for a wide variety of business functions to include management and tracking of taskers, replies to requests for information, tracking of memorandums of agreement/understanding, personnel deployment, conference management and other critical business functions.

Participates on boards, committees, teams, and panels that pertain to this focus area in the organization's interest.

Provides recommendations to the Associate Director (Business Operations) on items of interest pertinent to subordinate organizational units, and possesses skills to develop analytical and evaluative methods to develop recommendations for realistic short- and long-range goals, objectives, and measurable metrics.
