- Demonstrate broad based industry expertise, thorough knowledge of tax law and the ability to provide advisory services to the clients
- Complete technical review on appropriate clients
- Understand most aspects of the client's business concerns as applicable to tax laws
- Complete research on complex tax matters
- Successfully conducts tax planning for clients.
- Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
- Ability to effectively utilize software to complete job (UltraTax and CCH and Engagement)
- Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations
- Recognize problems and propose reasonable solutions
- Effectively communicate complex issues and circumstances
- Write clear and concise business correspondence and communications with clients and staff
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points
- Keep the Senior Tax Manager or Principal informed of all important developments surrounding the engagement.
- Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
- Maintain CPA or member of the Bar
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Taxation
