- Safely operate company-owned trucks and trailers (lowboy, flatbed, step deck)
- Transport materials and equipment to project sites throughout the U.S.
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect materials and equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD compliant)
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Obtain necessary permits, including oversize/overweight when required
- Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, and job site personnel regarding schedules and site conditions
- Complete required documentation (delivery tickets, inspections, fuel reports, credit card reconciliation)
- Maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and general condition
- Navigate safely within active construction sites
- Assist with yard operations and operate equipment (loader, telehandler, skid steer, forklift) as needed
- Report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
- Travel and deliver to project sites nationwide
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 5+ years of truck driving experience, preferably in construction
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and safe driving practices
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
- Must pass DOT physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol testing
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
