    Description
    Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Data Architect & Data Security Engineer to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) activities
    ARPA-H Resilient Systems Office requires a Data Architect Technical SETA to play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of related activities within the ARPA-H organization

    Specific Duties Required:

    • Provide technical guidance to external teams working on large-scale data projects.
    • Ensure robust and scalable data solutions are implemented with a strong focus on security and compliance.
    • Analyze scientific and technical data with respect to novelty, rigor and robustness.
    • Evaluate and advise on cloud-based technologies and architectures.
    • Under the leadership of a PM, build and maintain detailed program plans.
    • Assist in writing and review of technical documents and solicitations

    Qualifications:
    Clearance - HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain) Education - BS, Masters or PhD
    preferred in computer science, data science, or related field

    Experience required:

    • 5+ years of experience preferred, 3 years or more of practical hands-on experience in roles such as data architect.
    • Proficiency with large cloud-based systems like Google Bigquery, Amazon Redshirt, and others like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
    • Ability to implement and manage data warehousing solutions, datalakes and ETL processes in cloud environment.
    • Ability to leverage cloud analytic tools and services for insight from large datasets.
    • Experience in healthcare technologies preferred.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, CMCC
    • Familiarity with security architecture and encryption.
    • Basic administrative tasks such as PowerPoint slide development and collecting, sorting, analyzing, and writing Internal programmatic reports/briefings on relevant topics in a health-related field.
    • Previous experience with basic and applied research and prior support to Program Managers in an R&D environment, is preferred
