- Passion for YouTube content, low budget but high quality production, and willing to be a jack-of-all-trades type video maker.
- Experience writing and directing for a successful YouTube channel.
- Knowledge about great title and thumbnail-making, along with a strong desire to master YouTube analytics/algorithms is a huge plus.
- Video editing skills, there are times you will need to edit.
- We are a family friendly brand. So if you happen to love content like "Power Rangers", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and more, that's awesome.
- Experience as a director and writer. We film fast and our scripts are more guides (think a family-friendly spies/hero "Curb Your Enthusiasm").
- Photoshop knowledge to create YouTube thumbnails.
- Camera operating experience (often you will also be operating camera).
- Process Oriented. We are an always changing company due to the nature of web video, and our long running series has a process driven workflow within a creative environment.
- A willingness to take on any role needed on production days. We are a small team of some of the most experienced and easy-going YouTubers who jump to help each other get the best quality videos out to our large fanbase. Our directors help each other as assistants and co-directors. There is no other crew.

Overview:
Qlay Co., a top creator-first digital studio based in Las Vegas is looking for Writer/Directors for our popular scripted family show, "Spy Ninjas".
"Spy Ninjas" has been the longest-running scripted series in YouTube history. Over 15 billion views and 40 million subscribers. A family show like Power Rangers meets Scooby Doo. These are the two channels we release new weekly episodes for the show.

In this role you'll join Qlay Co. as part of a small but mighty team of fellow Writer/Directors for 'Spy Ninjas", working alongside the head creative and founders of the company to ideate, write, direct, and edit episodes. Additionally, you'll be learning and gaining experience in all facets of video production including creating YouTube thumbnails and becoming an expert in analytics to help improve the results of your videos.
The position requires living in Las Vegas, NV, or relocating for this opportunity. You will be filming videos around the area, including our new 55,000 square foot space theme park, 'Spy Ninjas HQ'. Interviews can be held remotely if you are not local to the area, and if you are selected for this role, relocation compensation will be discussed.
