- Electrical Tasks: You'll tackle major and minor electrical repairs, such as 480V 3-phase motors, motor starter circuits, VFD drives, sensors, switches, and more. Troubleshooting AC/DC drives, PLCs, and motor control circuits will be part of your routine.
- Mechanical Duties: Maintaining, repairing, and adjusting machinery such as motors, pumps, belts, and chains will be in your domain. You'll also need to read mechanical prints and technical data during installations and repairs.
- Additional Responsibilities: You'll need to be on-call when required, assist in training other employees, use safety equipment, and provide support to the maintenance and production teams.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years as an automation technician, preferably in the plastics or Injection Molding industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong abilities in mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: You should be comfortable working in confined spaces and on ladders/platforms.
- TroubleshootingSkills : Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, along with familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and related components.
