We are in search of a CAD Drafting Supervisor to join our diverse and dynamic organization.In this role you will supervise mentor develop cad technicians designers focused on substation engineering assign manage drafting workloads meet project deadlines budget constraints ensure time sold metrics maintained plan coordinate drawing deliverables substation engineers project managers maintain enforce substation specific cad standards templates symbols libraries driving client specific cad templates profiles perform qa qc checks drawings accurate complete meet client industry standards expectations oversee drafting workflows redline incorporation revision control file management coordinate interdisciplinary drawing needs physical structural civil p c design teams prepare cad labor estimates support proposals drafting resource planning provide technical expertise autocad microstation autocad electrical civil 3d troubleshoot cad issues production support complex substation drawings ensure proper use xrefs reference files model paper space practices version control maintain improve block libraries symbol sets automated tools lisp routines scripts macros support implementation document management systems projectwise vault evaluate adoption new cad technologies including built environment tools train staff ad standards utility requirements workflows software updates document best practices drafting procedures internal workflow guidelines incorporate field redlines accurate as built drawing updates promote collaborative efficient quality focused drafting team culture
