    Description
    This position provides engineering support and develops manufacturing processes for all functional departments. Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to provide technical solutions while effectively managing process, policy, and strategy changes
    Requirements


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    To include but not limited to the following:
    Technical evaluation, risk analysis, and process flow and estimation of new products.
    Interpretation and validation of manufacturing processes and documentation in accordance with required specifications.
    Develop product configurations and methods utilizing Epicor ERP system.
    Lead design reviews to ensure that parts can be manufactured efficiently and in compliance with customer requirements.
    Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and execute cost/cycle-time reduction initiatives.
    Process engineering change orders and lead the implementation process
    Track and update cycle times in ERP system
    Work directly with customer as technical liaison.
    Project Management.
    Tool and fixture design and planning.
    Assist with quality control plans.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
    Must have 10+ years engineering experience in precision machining and manufacturing.
    Familiar with solid modeling software – SolidWorks, Siemens NX
    Experience with machine programming, preferably Mastercam, NX and/or Esprit.

    Analyze drawings, design models, and sketches to determine dimensions and configuration related to shop processes, customer specifications, and machine capabilities.

    Minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering.
    Excellent knowledge of GD&T
    Experience with Okuma, Haas, Fanuc and Mazak machine controllers is a plus.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:
    In a typical day the employee will spend time in the office and on the production floor.
    May on a regular basis walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
    The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
