About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neurovascular Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

This is a 9 FTE, day shift opening with rotating weekends, offering a great work-life balance opportunity for those who thrive in fast-paced environments.

As a nurse in this unit, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering world-class patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, assessing their physical and emotional needs, and developing individualized plans to meet those needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurovascular care, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate – NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting.
