    JOB SUMMARY

    This position oversees the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance activities related to general maintenance and repair of the facility, automatic retrieval systems, dock equipment, minor electrical device repair, plumbing, fleet shop, refrigeration system operation, and security.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and requirements
    • Knowledge of controls and electric systems
    • Knowledge of OSHA electrical safety standards; National electric code and electrical safety requirements
    • Proficiency in electrical meter testing
    • Understanding of PLC's and troubleshooting
    • Maintain facility assets through scheduled preventative maintenance and repair activities
    • Responsible for logging time and materials into the maintenance management system daily
    • Respond to emergency situations to ensure safety
    • Champion overall safety in the department
    • Comply with safety regulations
    • Train and mentor other team members

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    • High School diploma or GED;
    • Facility maintenance tech school (preferred)

    Experience

    • Six years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience
    • Refrigeration Operator I / RETA: CARO
    • Refrigeration Operator II / RETA: CIRO (preferred)

    Professional Skills

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or regulations
    • Ability to perform mathematical calculations

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid state Driver's License with liability coverage
    • Complete a defensive driving program
    • Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months
    • Electrical Arc Flash training (preferred)
    • Trade electrical I & II training (preferred)
    • RETA CARO required
    • RETA CIRO in addition to RETA CARO (preferred)

    Physical Demands

    • Employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate equipment
    • Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms
    • Occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds
